Time to Spring Forward

I think Spring just might have finally arrived. It was in the low fifties yesterday which was perfect hoodie weather with just a little bit of rain in the evening. I turned down the heat in my house - take that Nipsco! - and then this morning, it's warm enough outside for my front door to be open. During the winter when I had to keep it closed due to the cold, Baxter took a habit up of jumping on the table I have in front of the window and looking out that way. Now, with the door open again, hopefully he will stop jumping on tables and just sit in front of the screen door like most normal dogs. If you know me, you know I hate Summer. I hate being hot and uncomfortable and sweaty. But I don't mind Spring, especially early Spring when there's still a bit of a nip in the air and you can wear hooded sweatshirts with light jackets. This and early Fall are probably my favorite times of year before the humid of Summer starts pressing down or the frigidness of winter starts stinging your face.
