Mom Still Makes It Better

I've been so sad lately. My mom called tonight and we wound up talking for almost a half hour, maybe more, which is exactly what I needed. I felt better after hanging up with her. I don't know how she does it. Maybe after you have children, you automatically get all of these secret mom powers. However she did it, I'm glad she called. I've always been really close to my mom and even though I've moved away, I'm glad that that hasn't changed. I'm still feeling sad but not as much. I really don't know how she does it.
