Bye Mikey

Last night, on the new episode of Top Chef, one of my favorite chefs, probably my favorite chef, Mike, was told to pack his knives and go. It was devestating - especially considering that the chefs remaining are all annoying, angry, self-centered people that are very aware of the cameras around them, hence their need to stir up drama and scream at each other. Mikey was definitely not the classiest chef in the kitchen. His skills were seriously lacking compared to the others but to watch him from the very first episode, Mike is definitely the chef that has grown the most this season. He's going to be missed by a lot of people that watch the show. It would have been so cool if he had won. Mikey is the definition of dark horse in a competition. No one thought he would have made it this far. It would be great if he won fan favorite during the reunion show coming up.
