Remember These?

With the end of 2006 in sight, that can only mean one things. A lot of end-of-the-year lists are being created. This isn't one of those but just a random collection. There's always the list of the greatest music videos of the year and this is my list. But these just aren't from this year. This is just a list, in no particular order, of some of my favorite music videos. Some are oldies but they are definitely still goodies.

"I Want Love" by Elton John - What's so great about this music video? Three simple words. Robert Downey Jr.

2. "Here It Goes Again" by Ok Go - Can you really have a list of music videos without mentioning this one? I think not.

3. "Days Go By" by Dirty Vegas - The video that proved there can be a tragic love story behind break dancing.

4. "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim - You show me a better dance video. Even if you could, I doubt it would feature moves by Christopher Walken.

5. "Nothing Left To Lose" by Mat Kearney - If you know me, you knew he was going to be on the list.

6. "Tell Me Baby" by Red Hot Chili Peppers - You have to admit. These guys are cool to their fans.

7. "Hey Ya" by Outkast - The video that taught us how to shake it like a Polaroid picture.

8. "Helena" by My Chemical Romance - My roommates were on strict orders that when I died, my funeral was to be exactly like this video.

9. "Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake - I know. What is JT doing on this list? I think his oh so subtle slam to Britney Spears earned him a spot.

10. "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More "Touch Me" by Fall Out Boy - In the tradition of Michael Jackson's extended video "Thriller", this emo band tells a story with the use of vampires and earns their creativity award in the process.
