My Apologies

Sorry for the lack of updates today. Work was really crazy there in the afternoon but I will try to make it up to you now. After work, I went to Target and spent far too much money but I bought $10 worth of stuff for the grab-bags at Janet's Christmas Party this coming Saturday. It was supposed to be $10 of complete crap but honestly, the stuff I bought, yes, it was useless but I consider them to be trinkets, not complete sheer crap. I also excited Janet because I actually called her. As my friends know, I'm not too big of a phone person and Janet was hounding me to call her ever since she gave me her number. Well, today I finally gave in because I had to know what the dress code for the party was. In Janet's not-exact words "something comfy to get drunk in" so I'm not too worried about my attire on Saturday. I just thank god that Dan and Heidi are driving me to and from the party. Now I can get drunk but still get home without becoming a statistic.

Next stop was the grocery store where I had to buy my dad a bottle of Chianti that was on sale. As I was wandering the liquor aisles, trying to locate the exact bottle, the woman working the section gave me an odd look then asked if she could help me. After she pointed me in the right direction and I found the correct bottle, I took it up to the register where she obviously needed to see my i.d. Now this woman made my day. She admitted that she thought I was 17 and waiting for my mom when she first saw me. That made me smile and then when I left, the woman said that whatever it was I was doing, keep doing it. Now I know that I'm only 22 but still. Such compliments would make anyone smile.
