Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid.

With Halloween, one of the greatest holidays ever, quickly approaching, October has become the season of horror movies. The Grudge 2 and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning are both now in theaters. And television stations are not about to be left out of people's desire for a good scare. AMC is staring their 10th 'Monsterfest' , which starts on October 22 and will run 24 hours a day nonstop through October 31, when it will appropriately show five Halloween films. I wrote a term paper in college on the development of horror films and I am a devoted follower of 'Monsterfest', watching it every year. If you're more interested in fun horror, All of The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror can now be seen online. For me, personally, some years are hits and others are misses. One of my favorites is the possessed Krusty Doll Homer gets Bart for his birthday from House of Evil 'Your One Stop Evil Shop', which also sells ever-popular frogurt. "Marge! Marge! The doll's trying to kill me, the toaster's been laughing at me!"
