Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Go Back Into the Water

How amazing is this? Dozens of new fish, shrimp and coral species have been discovered in waters off of New Guinea in teh South Pacific. Two new types of shark were also discovered, including one that walks! It uses its fins to help "walk" along the ocean floor. I love when new things like this are discovered. There are still so many things living on the floors of the oceans that have yet to be found.

Sharks are the most amazing creatures. I always said that if I had been better at math and science, I definitely would have loved to study marine biology. My parents take me to aquariums, places I could stay in all day. I'm fascinated with the ocean- especially sharks. How could you not be? They're so graceful and deadly. They're truly the world's only survining monsters in my opinion. They terrify me and yet have an obsessive hold over me at the same time.
