The Dreaded Dumper

As if my morning at work wasn't bad enough. I had to come home and have Baxter pee on my bed. Splendid. Seriously. This dog is the devil. He's Rosemary's dog. He makes hellhounds proud. He is never allowed in my bedroom again or any other room except the kitchen and living room. Good thing the carpet is completely dreadful in this house because when I wasn't looking, he knocked my can of Dr. Pepper over onto the floor. What a brat!

But anyway, after lunch, I went back to work, obviously, and was working on putting another small quote together that isn't due until tomorrow. There is a man in the office who if I didn't
love working for Linda or make pretty good money, this man would make me want to give my two week notice. Terry is what we call a dumper. He dumps all of his work on others to do then takes the credit. He is an outside salesman which is his excuse. He gets the company jobs and then expects to never follow through on the jobs. That's what everyone else is there for. Obviously. I was sitting at my desk, working, when he comes and dumps a job folder on my desk. Explaining it to me, I just stared at it. You have got to be kidding. What an ass. What a pompous tool. I felt like Milton in Office Space. I was certain that even if I told him to go do his own work and leave me alone, I wouldn't be heard. Or worse, he would hear and go tell on me to the boss. Of course, I am the newer employee so maybe our boss would take Terry's side over mine even though I do my own work and he's a dumper! Grrrrr. It makes me angry just thinking about it. I really do not like this man. He makes work truly awful sometimes for me.
