New Music

While I'm trying to fight off a sinus cold, I have been searching the internet for new music to listen to. Several albums are streaming this week for free so do yourself a favor and check at least some of them out.

1. Alicia Keys "As I Am": Her single for her new album is "No One" but in my humble opinion, her duet with John Mayer in "Lesson Learned" is the true hit of this cd. Listen to it for free over on VH1.com.

2. I've never been a fan of hers but if you're into this type of music, you can listen to Celine Dion's first English-speaking album in three years.

3. Although he isn't my favorite rap artist, I still find him enjoyable. 50 Cent has a new record and you can give it a listen. This was the album that 50 Cent said that if Kanye West sold more copies than his, 50 would retire. I'm not sure if he's a man of his word though.

4. You can find a sneak peak of Britney Spear's much talked about album Blackout - which Jim played in my car Saturday night. Let's just say I won't be running out to buy it for myself. Also, listen to sneak peaks of Chris Brown's album - one of my songs of the moment being "Kiss, Kiss" - and Avenged Sevenfold's album - one I just bought today during my lunch break and have had it on repeat since I got home.
