Manic Monday

Today was so busy at work today but I was happy about that. When it's busy like it was today, I don't have time to stare at the clock or think about things. I can just focus on work and not worry or think about anything else going on at the moment. I needed a busy Monday like today. I sent out about five RFQs, request for quotes, and then I put together three quotes and started working on one that's due tomorrow. Summertime is coming and that's the lighting department's busy season and I'm grateful that I won't have as many slow days anymore when I'm just watching the clock.

I talked to Brittnay yesterday and she's graduating from college this coming weekend! I'm so happy for her and if I could, I would drive to Toledo to see her get her degree. Unfortunately, I have a little white pest that answers to the name of Baxter. I have no one to watch him but that's okay because Brittnay will be visiting me in a couple weeks, which I'm already super excited for. Brittnay's my best friend and any time I can spend with her is going to be a good time. This will be the first time she's visiting me and seeing my house. I'm not sure what we'll do but the great thing about Brittnay is she's very laid-back and has no problem just chilling.

I'm going back to Ohio next weekend for Mother's Day and have even taken next Friday off. I have a dentist appointment, a haircut appointment and I have to go see my eye doctor. Busy day but it all has to be done. My parents got a new television over the weekend and a new computer a couple months ago so I have to check both of these things out. It's going to be a good weekend. I love going home and I'm looking forward to the three-day weekend.
