I know people think I'm crazy when I say this but I really do not like birds. I can't remember a time when they didn't annoy me. Always chirping and singing and waking me up. This morning, I woke up at 5:12 a.m. because the birds outside were sitting in the bush next to my window and chirping away like doing so was acceptable at such a ridiculously early hour. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I actually stuffed my head underneath my pillows and covered my ears so I could go back to sleep. When I'm visiting Ohio and sleeping peacefully in my bedroom, those birds know when I'm there. I'm convinced of it because they sing without stopping until I'm awake.
I know I sound insane but I can't help it. This is one reason I miss living in Milwaukee. In the city, there were no birds chirping away outside my window every morning. The only birds I had to deal with were pigeons and seagulls eating trash in the parking lots. I swear, if I wake up tomorrow because of birds and not because of my alarm clock, heads are going to roll.

Katie I know what you mean!! I hate birds and the loud noises they make when i am trying to sleep!
I doubt Milwaukee is planning on proclaiming itself, "A City Without Birds."
Blame your Grand Father !! he put water in the bird bath and fed them.
There are probably multi generations of bird families that have lived in the backyard.
It is up to Baxter to chase the birds out of the yard.
