Since I'm not in the cheeriest of moods, I decided to post some beautiful photographs from one of the best magazines you can possibly read: National Geographic. Photographs like this make me oddly calm. I have always been in love with photography and in fact, my high school photography teacher who I had for two years was the first teacher I ever had that actually encouraged me and told me I had talent. When I graduated from college, my parents gave me this beautiful Nikon 35mm film camera, which if my house was ever on fire, it would be one of the things I saved. There was a time in high school when I seriously considered going to a photography school. Maybe I should have.
