A New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday. Mine was fantastic and trust me. Getting up for work this morning after eleven days off was nearly impossible - especially since Baxter decided that sleeping last night was something he didn't want to do. Being back home, the land of dialup, was so wonderful. I love being home. I got to hang out with Brittnay, Jon, and Adam, spend time with my brother and sister, and eat far too much food that now in the new year, I will try desperately to get rid of. I was supposed to hang out with Katie but scheduling kept me from doing so but that's between me and her. For Christmas, I got a new phone, that Linus blanket, and so many books, it will take me a couple months to read them all but I'm so excited. Chrissy came back with me for this past weekend so we could go to Heidi's un-New Year's Eve party on Saturday, which was a blast, and I cleaned the house like a woman possessed on Sunday. So much happened during my eleven days and I didn't want them to end. They made me wonder what my life would be like if I hadn't moved here and taken that job. I probably would be working at Barnes and Noble like my high school friend Alex.
