Everyone has to work in life, unless you're extremely lucky and wealthy. And everyone has to deal with a boss of some sort. There are bad bosses and there are good bosses. I wish that everyone though could work for someone like Linda. She has to be one of the nicest women I have ever met and though I may sometimes really hate my job and curse and complain about it on almost a daily basis but honestly, if it wasn't for Linda, I would have probably quit already. My main reason would have been losing my mind and screaming at the dumper, possibly murdering him.
Today for lunch, Linda treated me to Chinese. Her husband is out of town for a couple weeks and I have been living on rice and peanut butter and jelly sandwichs so eating a big lunch at an all-you-can-eat buffet sounded pretty appetizing to both of us. Needless to say, it hit the spot. It's so great talking and joking with Linda. She may be 40 years old but we surprisingly have a lot in common, which is another bonus.
We wound up working late tonight, mainly because the dumper asked us to release a lamp order but surprise, surprise, the order was completely messed up. In case you ever find yourself in a particular situation where this arises, remember this. You can not have a six foot lamp for an eight foot fixture. If you ever see that happen, it's wrong.
