Promotion?
I just got out of a very short meeting with Bob, my boss. He asked me how I felt about putting in more hours - hours that would make me officially full time. 40 hours a week full time. I said I had no problem doing that. He explained that our purchasing man, Dave, has help at our main hub but she's going to be taking 3 to 4 months of maternity leave and he could use an extra set of hands to help him out. So for 20 hours a week, I'll be helping Linda with lighting and then the other 20 will be helping Dave in purchasing. The man who is in charge of purchasing for the entire district just happens to be working out of our office today and we will be speaking later so he can explain things further to me. You won't believe me but the man's name is... John Clark. It seems that I'm going to be working for another one.

Gosh Katie. Looks like you're going into the family trade. One of my first jobs was also in purchasing, and then of course there's your Dad. Didn't know purchasing ran in the family, but apparently it does. Congratulations (I think).
I don't know what to say. Did you mention the fact that Cornholeo has lived his life as a purchasing slave ?
Congrats on the full time. You now can buy what ever TV you want.

Purchasing Man ? It the correct tittle Purchasing Manager or Purch. Agent ?
