Fast and Slow
This day started out so quickly. It seemed that as soon as I got to work, it was time to go to lunch. It's much better to be so busy with work, you're barely breathing than just sitting there, twiddling your thumbs and staring at the clock. The clock moves much faster when you can't spare the time to look at it. But now, with an hour and a half remaining before I can go home, work has slowed down immensely and now time seems to be dragging itself. I'm nervous about tommorrow though and this huge quote I have to send out by myself without Linda's supervision but hopefully I can pull it off. It's going to be a big job - nearing almost a million dollars in lighting if not over. If one of our contractors gets the bid and we get the order, maybe I'll get to ring this bell we have on the job for million dollar+ projects since it was my quote and it could possibly wind up being over a million. For some reason, even though it's just some bell, I want to be able to ring it just once. I think it will make me feel like I'm doing something right at this job if I can do that.
