Dinner and a Movie
During the Ikea weekend, my dad took us for lunch to this amazing fried chicken restaurant called Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket right on Old US Route 66. They by far have the best chicken sandwiches in the world. (Sorry Wendy's) They also had the best cream of mushroom soup I have ever had and I've been craving it since last Saturday. I went to the grocery store and picked up a can of Progresso mushroom soup and had it for dinner tonight. I also made some rice - Minute Rice since I couldn't find my Riceland rice for the steamer. It was okay. Not as good a dinner as my mouth was anticipating. I wish getting to Dell Rhea's was a little easier. I could definitely go for one of their chicken breast sandwiches right now.
Also, I love Netflix. The other day, I was thinking of one of those movies from my childhood: The Chipmunk Adventure. And was shocked, though I shouldn't have been, when I found out that Netflix actually had it. I requested it and put it on the top of my queue immediately. It arrived today and after dinner, I sat down and watched it. Right when the movie began, I realized that I still remembered the entire thing from when I watched it as a kid. I used to love this movie even though watching it now, it is a bit ridiculous. But come on. The chipmunks race around the world against an evil sibling duo and they still have time to rock out! Now that's a great premise for any movie.
