December 1st

Happy Friday! And on top of that - Happy December everyone! Only 24 more holiday shopping days left. Last month, I had a record number of postings. I don't know what had gotten into me but I don't know if December will be as filled as November was. We shall see though.

It's officially yucky outside. Freezing rain all night and now snow. I'm really nervous about driving to work but hopefully, there won't be any really stupid drivers on the roads this morning. Baxter was terrified of snow when he first saw it. He had to go out so when I opened the front storm door for him and he saw the snow falling and the slush on the ground, he just stood there and stared, not sure at all what to make of what was falling from the sky. He didn't want to go out and investigate either. But when the kids went out to catch their bus for school, Baxter wanted out more than anything. He didn't even seem to notice the snow as he got attention bestowed upon him. After I dry my hair from my shower and get dressed, I'm taking him outside so he can explore this new thing to his world. It's supposed to snow all day and by the time I get home from grocery shopping, it will be dark out. And since Baxter is white, I hope I don't lose him out there in the snow when I can't see him.
