Chocolate Popcorn

Whew! What a busy week this was but it's finally, FINALLY, beginning to slow down. I'm not looking forward to next week already though. Linda is taking the entire week off for Christmas so I'm by myself again. We have this gigantic, and I mean gigantic, job due next Tuesday and even she's worried about leaving me by myself. It's not that she doesn't trust me or thinks that I'm completely incompetent but this will be a big job for us and jobs like this are never easy to put quotes together on. She's been rushing around this week, calling so many people, trying to work things out so next week, I can just enter it, send it out and be done with it. I hope that it works out like that but since she won't be here, it probably will make my life a living hell on Tuesday. She said that no one ever requests quotes the week before Christmas but I think all of our customers knew that Linda was going to be out and that's why there are jobs due. It's a conspiracy against me obviously.

On the bright side, it is Friday so I don't have to worry about such things for a few more days. And tonight, I'm hanging out with Jimmy, Montgomery and Oliver and then tomorrow night is Janet's party so it will be a fun weekend yet I know it's going to be a lazy one too. I need to wrap presents and I've been having this surge of creativity and as a result, I've been writing constantly. I still need to talk to Bob about getting days off for Christmas but the man has been running in and out of the office all week. Hopefully, I can convince him to let me use my vacation days. I don't think it will be a problem but *fingers crossed*. Also, one of our manufacturers came by the office today, bringing with him one of those tins with three different kinds of popcorn in it. I've decided that chocolate covered popcorn is the best of all popcorns.
