Oh thank God that this day is almost done. I've been so busy and frustrated with this one quote that I had to send out today. And now that it's out, I'm completely panicked with worry that it's all wrong. I wish Linda was here. We kept calling one another today so we could talk about this thing and what was going on with it. She was worried that she would come back from vacation and I would have quit because of this one job due today. And it didn't even get to a million. It was a little over $745,000. I guess if we get the order, I won't get to ring the bell. Oh well. I've only been here six months. Maybe around the springtime. That's when the huge jobs start coming in.
To add to the stress of my morning, the dumper kept coming to my desk, just standing there and talking as if he couldn't see I was working. Of course, he rarely works so it shouldn't surprise me that he doesn't know it when he sees it. Not only was he continuously bothering me, he actually had the audacity to lie a job down on my desk, today of all days, and ask if I could work on that for him. Um, let me think about that dumper. Bend over and I'll help you with that job in some way. Whew. Sorry. Rage blackout there for a moment. The dumper seems to do that to me.
At least tomorrow is Wednesday. I just have three more jobs to quote over two days. It won't be too bad. At least I'm hoping it won't be. And I'm so excited about driving home on Thursday after work. I smiled today looking at the calender. Only six more days until Christmas and only two more until my vacation starts!
