All Weekends Must End
It is sometimes impossible to go to work on Monday after such a busy and tiring weekend. I wish it was still just Sunday and I had another day to recover by lying around and not doing anything. But alas, it is Monday and I have work to get to. Baxter was a good boy last night. He slept nearly the entire night through except he started getting restless around 5 a.m. I'm not sure if something was outside or what because he wanted outside twice within twenty minutes but whatever was going on, he passed out again and neither one of us wanted to hear the alarm clock go off this morning. I think it would benefit everyone in the working world if weekends were three days long instead of just two. Wouldn't that be incredible? True, we would all be in the same position on Mondays after three days - maybe even in a worse mood than after just two - but I think everyone would benefit and be happier if we had more time to be lazy and forget about work since work rarely makes anyone smile.

His ultra sharp ears hears the paper hitting the porch around 5 every morning.
We need a Baxter picture by the Xmas tree.
