The Zodiac

The full-length trailer for the new film "Zodiac" is out and I have to be honest. I am ridiculously excited for this movie. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr., three amazingly talented actors, and is directed by David Fincher, the man who directed one of my favorite films "Seven", so I have a lot of faith in this. If you know me, you know I am a huge true-crime enthusiast and I have read several books on the Zodiac killer. I heard that the recently released "The Black Dahlia" basically just used the backdrop of that murder to do whatever they wanted but watching this trailer, I have a feeling that "Zodiac" is going to stick close to what actually happened. Of course, if they find the killer at the end, I'm going to throw my drink at the screen for obviously giving it a Hollywood ending. If you don't know who the Zodiac is, he was a serial killer who terrorized the San Francisco area in the 1960s and 70s and who spoke to detectives and newspaper reporters through letters written in Zodiac symbols. The case still remains unsolved though police had suspects.
