You're My Sweetest Downfall

Whenever I'm feeling slightly depressed or sad, I listen to "Samson" by Regina Spektor on repeat - like I have been doing this morning. The song and video can be listened to/watched here and if you have never listened to this wonderfully talented performer sing and play the piano, I highly recommend it. The song is about the untold love story between Samson and Delilah. Here are the lyrics to my favorite stanza:

"Samson came to my bed
Told me that my hair was red
Told me I was beautiful and came into my bed
Oh I cut his hair myself one night
A pair of dull scissors in the yellow light
And he told me that I'd done alright
And kissed me 'til the mornin' light, the mornin' light
And he kissed me 'til the mornin' light..."

It's such a beautiful song by definitely now one of my favorite singers.
