My dad took me out to breakfast this morning and then we hit a couple grocery stores, which were insane with Thanksgiving this coming Thursday. At Van Til's, I was reaching for a 24 pack of Diet Coke and the way it was displayed, I couldn't get a hold of one on the bottom so I had to reach for one at the top. As I pulled it down, the box basically fell apart and all 24 cans fell out of the side of the box, crashing to the floor. Luckily, there was a store worker there to help me clean them up with me apologizing over and over again for being an idiot. I have never had something like that happen to me in a store before but I suppose it's a first time for everything. "Clean up, aisle one."
My dad left today around 12:40, leaving me and Baxter with a quiet Sunday afternoon to ourselves. I spent most of it cleaning, washing dishes, doing four loads of laundry and just trying to straighten the house as much as I could before leaving for Ohio on Tuesday night. I also ate a delicious dinner of italian sausage and pasta that my dad had thrown in the crock pot for me before he left. I'm sure I will have plenty left over to bring back to him in a couple days.
