I know Thanksgiving is still nine days away but whether you want to admit it or not, the holiday is quickly approaching. And I cannot wait. I still need to talk to Bob but since Linda is working Wednesday, she's sure it won't be a problem if I took Wednesday off so I can drive home Tuesday. Yes. I am going home in seven days. I'm so excited. I was just thinking about being home for a nice little break. It's Baxter's first Thanksgiving, which will surely be disasterous, I get to see most of my friends who constantly stalk me via cell phone but since my cell phone sucks and dies and loses voice messages, they think I hate them, and we're going to get the Christmas tree on Friday. I can't believe that we'll be getting a Christmas tree. That's what I don't want to admit. Christmas is coming soon. I haven't done any shopping whatsoever but at least I have some vague idea as to what I'm getting everyone.
Thanksgiving has to be my favorite holiday because it's the laziest. You get up, sit around, munch on food, eat a huge feast and then sit around and digest. It's wonderful. My dad is coming to see me this weekend - well, to see Bax - and to go grocery shopping since stores in Ohio pale in comparison to stores in the region and it will be nice to see him so he can help me with some things around the house. I know my sister says that it's time to cut the umbilical cord to our parents but I don't see why she says that. I don't see anything wrong with being close to your mom and dad or excited about going home where your mom cooks for you and does your laundry. And this may shock Chrissy, but I don't tell them everything.

WHAT don't you tell them ?
Is Baxter allowed to have left overs at T-giving?
There is more to eating and sleeping at T-Giving ! It is called cooking and cleaning up !!
You can help your Mother in the kitchen before you pass out...
