Robert Altman Dies

Film director Robert Altman has died at the age of 81. He made hits M-A-S-H, Nashville, and Gosford Park. His most recent work was A Prarie Home Companion starring Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin, who presented him with an honorary Oscar this past year at the awards ceremony. Having become known for successfully being able to have large casts with several intertwining stories, Altman's technique has been used by many fellow directors, most recently was Bobby directed by Emilio Estevez.
