The End of the Week For Me

I'm driving back to Ohio tonight after work and since my parents have dial-up, this is the last day of new postings until Sunday night when I get back here to my high speed internet. I'm so excited about going home. Chrissy should be flying into Ohio and arriving about the same time me and Baxter do so I'm very excited for tonight. I may complain sometimes about my family but I love when we're all together. Yes, I did not forget Bill or his absence in Ohio for Thanksgiving but he's coming for Christmas and I think being together for that holiday is a little bit more important so I don't have to wait that long until we're actually ALL together.

Tomorrow night, I'm hanging out with Brittnay, Katie and Kim which I'm super excited for. Despite my horrible habit of never returning phone calls, they refuse to drop me from their lives so thank goodness I have friends like them that put up with me. Thursday is Thanksgiving obviously and then in accordance to family tradition, the family is going to go cut down our Christmas tree Friday morning in true Griswald family fashion. That's always a morning that gives me enough stories to write an entire chapter in my book.

Then that night, or possibly beginning in the afternoon, I will be with Brittnay, again, Adam and Jon. And as Adam puts it, "I haven't hung out with you in 10 years!" Adam always was a bit of the drama queen in the group. These are my boys and I'm so excited to be with them again. For some reason, when me and Brittnay were juniors, Jon was a sophomore, and Adam was a freshman, and we were all at Disney World for a band trip, we all found one another and spent that entire day together, becoming close friends, unfortunately. I'm kidding. But honestly, we're all a little suprised that we have remained friends when we all left high school, went off to four different colleges and are rarely in town at the same time. But we have managed and Friday, expect one hell of a reunion - especially now that all of us are of legal drinking age.
