It's been raining on and off since last night when I got off work and the temperature has been steadily dropping. All in all, it's pretty nasty out even though this is the kind of weather I love. I will love it more when it's snowing. I can't wait to see Baxter's reaction towards his first snowfall.
Last night, I slept wonderfully and I think that that might be helping the good mood I'm in today. Baxter slept most of the night, needing to only go out once around 3 o'clock but even then, after seeing that the weather was still horrible, he decided against it and wanted back in. I thought he would do it in the house but he just passed out again. We slept the whole night, curled up in our warm house and dreading the alarm clock going off at 7 o'clock. Tonight probably won't be a good night but that's just because after he has a good night, he has a horrible one. Baxter does not prefer consistency.
I'm excited for the weekend. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow night after work, ordering a pizza so I can pick it up on my way home, and then start putting up my Christmas tree. When I left Ohio, my mom gave me an artifical tree, ornaments, garland, and lights. I've never decorated an entire tree by myself so hopefully, this won't end in a distaster. I'm more worried about Baxter eating the tree skirt or knocking ornaments off while I'm at work. The puppy needs constant supervision. The weather isn't supposed to be at its best and I love weekends where I can stay inside and just relax after a week's worth of work. As an official adult with a job, I have really come to appreciate weekends.

Baxter wouldn't do anything to the tree or Xmas decorations.
