Time has put together a list of the 100 albums - the All-TIME 100. Seperated according to decades, they definitely hit the mark on many:
1990s - Oasis "(What's the Story) Morning Glory"
- Various Artists "Phil Spector, Back to Mono (1958-1969)
1980s - U2 "The Joshua Tree"
- Michael Jackson "Thriller"
- Metallica "Master of Puppets"
1970s - The Clash "London Calling"
- The Sex Pistols "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols"
- Led Zeppelin "Led Zeppelin IV"
- The Rolling Stones "Sticky Fingers"
- Carole King "Tapestry"
- Marvin Gaye "What's Going On"
1960s - The Band "The Band"
- Johnny Cash "At Folsom Prison"
- The Jimi Hendrix Experience "Are You Experienced"
- The Velvet Underground "The Velvet Underground and Nico
- Bob Dylan "Highway 61 Revisted"
- Robert Johnson "King of the Delta Blues Singers"
- The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds"
- The Beatles "Revolver"
It's a great list with so many of my all-time favorite bands getting the credit they deserve. Except one. Any Pink Floyd album, particularly "Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall", was outrageously left off of the list. In my opinion, that makes a zero amount of sense.

Figures. I don't own any of them.
I was old before my time.
Bob Marley? The Doors? And you're right. Where the HELL is Pink Floyd?!
