I meant to post this last night but I didn't get around to it. TV Land has listed the 100 greatest catchphrases in television. The station will air a countdown special, "The 100 Greatest TV Quotes & Catch Phrases," starting Dec. 11. Amongst those listed are Homer Simpson's "D'Oh!", Sgt. Schultz's "I know nothing!", Soup Nazi's "No soup for you!" and Arnold Drummond's "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?" It seems odd but since a lot of these phrases, some from the era of black and white television, are still said today, it just shows the impact television has had on our culture. Just ask my college roommates. I used to say Fonzie's "Aaay" way too much and sometimes for no apparent reason.
