This morning, while reading the headlines on IMDB, I saw one of the worst stories:

Watts to Battle 'The Birds'?
Australian actress Naomi Watts has reportedly been offered the lead role in the remake of Alfred Hitchock's 1963 horror classic The Birds. Armageddon director Michael Bay's company will produce the new version of the film. She would play the role of Melanie Daniels, which was played by Tippi Hedren, in the original, according to moviehole.net. The movie features a wealthy San Francisco socialite who follows a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town where birds suddenly begin to launch vicious attacks on people.

Hey Hollywood. I have a brilliant new concept. It's called originality instead of going into the classic movie vault and remaking whatever you find in there. And also for Naomi Watts, try acting as an original character instead of taking all of these jobs in the movie remakes. Poor Alfred Hitchcock. First Psycho with Anne Heche and now this.
