The Most Influential People Who Never Lived

New Jersey authors Allan Lazar, Dan Karlan and Jeremy Salter haved ranked the 101 most influential people. But no one on this particular list, which is the subject of their new book, has ever lived. The Marlboro Man comes in at #1 with King Arthur #3 and Robin Hood coming in at #12. I remember how upset I was when my friends, finally in high school, broke it to me that these two characters were in fact not real and never had been. The list is great and entertaining even though I'm a bit puzzled as to how some of these "people" influenced our lives.

That is funny. I had to break it to Mark last year that King Arthur really never lived. He didn't believe for a while.
