Goodness! Here it is, already Tuesday and I'm just now getting around to talking about this week's
Can't Misses from Michael Ventre. Maybe I'm in the minority here but I just do not think that Borat is that funny of a character. Sacha Baron Cohen as his other altar-ego Ali G was funny but this one, I find it completely overhyped. Nonetheless, the new movie "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" comes out this week and from what I've read, people from Kazakhstan are not pleased.
I really wish I had HBO and Showtime for three reasons: 1) Deadwood on HBO.

2) Dexter on Showtime. And 3) Weeds on Showtime. The show "Weeds" follows a suburban mom who after the death of her husband begins to sell pot as a way to support her family. I can't hear enough good things about this show but alas, I do not have HBO or Showtime but do I feel like paying the outrageous price and getting the shows on DVD?
My brother probably already knows this but if he doesn't: Bill, The Who is coming out with their first studio album in 24 years. Bill and I have had this argument many times. Zeppelin vs. Who. Although I will give The Who credit to the few songs of theirs that I really enjoy, sorry Bill. I'm still Zeppelin all the way. Also in time for Halloween, "Nightmare On Elm Street" is getting a revamped DVD and Stephen King's new book is coming out though it isn't a horror story. Though, for some people, a love story is just a frightening.
