The beginning of a new blog is a beautiful thing. It is an invitation for stalking via the internet and for people you never speak to anymore to know you're still alive. Yes, I am still alive. Barely. You hear these great things about the real world while you're not the one living in it.
"You can eat ice cream any time of the day!"
"I blast my stereo at 3 o'clock in the morning!"
I listened to all of these exclamations with great innocence. Now, I know better. For one, I'm very particular about flavors of ice cream and despise brain freeze. And I love sleep too much to actually ever consider staying up until the wee hours of the morning just to blast some Zeppelin or Skynyrd. That and I don't think my neighbors would appreciate Robert Plant's voice at that time of night. Blasphemy, I know. Who wouldn't appreciate Robert Plant's hypnotic voice at any time of the day?
Living in the real world is not all it's cracked up to be. You spend nine months trying to get out and then the rest of your life trying to get back in.
